TVfXQ comeback :TRI-ANGLE vs I-yah: // gasoo(s)
I wanted to write about this once I got to listen to the whole album but I guess I'm not that patient enough. I want to skip Miduhyo (I Believe/Trust Me) performance because it's a ballad song and almost everyone agreed that they performed it nicely. I'll comment about the song later.

The one that was hotly talked about is, of course the title song, TRI-ANGLE. That performance totally invited gayo observers to compare the song with Iyah, and TVfXQ with H.O.T. I heard that H.O.T fans become TVfXQ anti-s, and most listener were bashing TVfXQ for singing TRI-ANGLE.
So firstly, am I the only one who wish to watch more performance of this song?
I, myself, am an H.O.T fans, although I wasn't in super depressed condition when I found out that the members had gone separate ways. After all, I am a KangTa fan before I am H.O.T fans. And of course, I am TVfXQ fan too.
When I first watch the comeback preview, I was already reminded to H.O.T although at that time I was thinking about Git It Up. Then I listened to the song preview, I must say I fell in love with that song. I looked up for the lyrics in ilikepop.com, and I saw that the composer was none other than Yoo YoungJin. Only when I saw in the lyrics that the song used the sample of 'Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Symphony No.40 in g minor, K 550 ' that I actually heard the familiar music in the background. Right at that moment I was thinking, "This is so Iyah-like" and already expected for fans, anti-s, and observers to arouse with comparisons. Anyway, Yoo YoungJin must really like Mozart a lot.
Some people said that the boys looked pathetic, trying to be the much loved H.O.T. Choikang's pretendind to scream near the ending would never beat WooHyuk's screaming (although when I saw that, I actually reminded of KangTa's screaming at the end of Iyah). I doubt for both of the songs that Choikang and KangTa were actually sceaming in those songs, I personally thought that it was Yoo YoungJin's voice.
In my opinion, TVfXQ could be looked pathetic with the song though. Yet I'm willing to look at it in other way. When H.O.T was broken apart I was wondering when can I listen to song with their style, especially when KangTa then become close to Song KwangShik rather than Yoo YoungJin. Of course, there are Moon HeeJun and jtL, yet I was anticipating for the song like Iyah. So, when I heard the song I was like- there you go, the song is back.
And the performance was rocking enough, even though when Micky and Xiah bumped to each other I was laughing. I consistently reminded of Xiah as a skinny student so when I saw that I was like- oh dear, Xiah is going to be blown away~
The flaw I saw is in the song itself, as I must say these boys don't have the attitude like H.O.T, and their performance doesn't make me feel threatened like H.O.T did. As I said, I fell in love with the song when I first listened to the preview, but when I listened to the whole song there was a slight disappointment. The chorus was too slow, after hearing the screaming stuff, suddenly they were singing softly. I keep expecting louder, harder voice. In short, H.O.T singing Iyah made it seem like they are in anger, threatening, warning at us for the sake of the children but TVfXQ seem like pleading for the better world with two kids called U-Know and Micky suddenly rioting in the middle. And neither of them could beat KangTa's threatening glare in Iyah :P. Oh, and Iyah has better ending.
Oh, did I mention that Youngwoong was so sexy? I didn't mean the sexyness as a hot hunk, I meant girly sexy ^.^;;; He is a very pretty boy. And I think Xiah looked cool (Youngwoong and his hair extensions are cool). Hey, I even think the backdancers (A to Z) have cool clothes too. Micky reminded me of an iDance character. Okay, let's stop comment on the look because I already did that before.
All that I want to say is that the song is still good with TVfXQ, even though it resembles so much of H.O.T. Yet, come one... both are from the same composers. You don't get that mad when you keep hearing the same rapping style in various groups, do you? Or when the ballad singers seem to sound alike. And those Japanese groups with visual kei image always look alike in my eyes. People were focusing on the boys just because they are so accepted by the fans.
I'm not saying that making them another H.O.T is a good thing. SM surely were too greedy in creating another icon in korea music industry when they made the boys singing TRI-ANGLE. Now I can see the rythm. The boys started with adorable image in Hug, suddenly become 'sexy' in The Way U Are and now they finally showed what they were intended to be. Had SM forgotten that H.O.T themselves did lose some of the fans when they appeared with that 4th album look?
Yet, I also think that the boys need a song like this. Come on, let's say you never had listened to them singing before, and I introduce you to a group with the name 'GODS RISING IN THE EAST! - DONG! BANG! SHIN! KI! -'... Will you actually expect five boys singing mushy mushy love songs instead of this kind of song?
This is just an expected event in the world of SM, so why bother?
And I was totally annoyed by the big spotlights in the performance.
Couldn't find good quality clips... couldn't make clear capture... blah...
EDITED: Forgot to mention .. seems like Youngwoong's dancing skill had improved :)

Youngwoong sang about him believing that it's hard to fall in love at the first sight before he met the girl in The Way U Are, Xiah followed by singing that he do believe in love at the first sight in Miduhyo, so who is next? ^.^
The boys wanted to be everything of the girl in Hug, and in The Way U Are they wanted to know everything, so I'm guessing that they are the stalkers? (Hehehe, if it were Lee YunHee instead of Go ARa in Hug MV, I'd say, "Run, YunHee~")... just kidding :P

What the~
For the young fans, probably they'd thought that these boys look like The TRAX. Being a KangTa & H.O.T fan I see a resemblance of H.O.T. Of course, my opinion is biased because TVfXQ always reminds me of H.O.T because of... whatever, don't let me start with that. But yeah, these pics really reminds me of H.O.T's Git It Up (Tooji) look. But when I think of it again, it's just only Xiah and Youngwoong who made me thought so.
 Choikang ChangMin :. My first thought was, a Son Goku wannabe? :P I can't tell whether that hair supposed to be short or long though...
 Youngwoong JaeJoong :. He constantly reminds me of Moon HeeJun. So I can't help to be reminded of HeeJun once again when I see this. But yeah, I was sort of surprised seeing his hair color not that dark anymore.
 Xiah JoonSoo :. This one reminds me of Tony. Probably just me, though. Then when I look at it once more, I think he looks quite cool.
 U-Know YoonHo :. What can I say, he could be in the worst image ever and yet I would still see him as good-looking. He looks different in this, yes, but I dunno, doesn't have the surprised feeling like I had when l looked at the others.
 Micky YooChun :. Whoa~ I think I like it.
So, overall, in the second thought I think they just go for the visual kei image and actually they can be looked as cool too. It's just what in your mind. Whenever you keep your mind open you can always see things differently. Yes, I can do that :]

Regarding the news about TVfXQ 1st album that I wrote down there, I came across a few articles and it seems like the info is correct. I was expecting a song with English title though, as all their songs before were in English (Mountain Spring doesn't count because it is a remake of Korean children song). Recently I heard that album is delayed to 11 October. Not going to be any different to me though, as I still don't have enough money T.T

20040906 - Regarding jtL disband and solo album.
Hi, it's Tony.
I'm going to give out my respond about jtL disbanding.
Firstly, I want to point out that the word 'disband' itself makes my ears hurt.
After H.O.T declared about going separate way, the three of us had been facing a lot of hard stuff....
As you guys already knew, it's not something that we intended to do at the first place.
After the pain and hardship finally we managed to form a project group which was known as jtL
yet I believe everyone already knew the reason why the name H.O.T can't be written (used).
Then the three of us started the new challenge
under the name of jtL....
Before our first album was released there were doubts everywhere
could us make it? what the three of us capable to do? ...
But we just do it our best and put our best effort towards it and you guys
gave us good responds and supports.
And then now...
The three of us decided to once again starting a new challenge.
We want to do the music that really suit us.
We have been doing our best from that moment up until now.
So
November 1...
My solo album is scheduled to be on market on that day.
Now I just want to do music that suits me.
I don't want to say that we are breaking up.
We promised each other to meet at the top
It will happen. We want to make it happen....
Please give a lot of encouragement and love.
Just like the time we believe each other until now
From now on I wish that trust will be kept forever....

Hi, it's Tony.
Now I'm working hard in the final stage of recording.
This album is made in the hands of the greatest composers of the world
Jamie of All-4-One, Shin Murayama (who used to work with Utada Hikaru, Hirai Ken) Japan best session man is included too.
Beside, the best composers from America, Sweden also are involved.
I, too, did some songs composing and writing lyrics.
Just like the effort made, I promise you this will be the best album presented
so please keep your interest and love.
Nice album and songs will be coming to you guys.

this music can be listened.
The album will be in market on November 15.

20040926 - Finishing recording last song....
Hi,
firstly I want to give out my thanks.
This year's choosuk(mid autumn festival) too, you guys sent me warm messages
along with great gifts.
I've been working in the recording studio for almost a month
that I can't seem to feel the excitement of choosuk.
After finishing recording the last song today, for real a lot of thoughts
been swarming in my head.
It was really hard....
After 8 years working hard without tiring off,
how come this time it seems to be too hard?
.... yet as I read your messages and with your supports
they really gave me strength.
Once again I'm thanking you
For the sake of mastering my album
I'll be going to Japan for a while.
Your choosuk will be fine without me, huh? ^^
You guys too should enjoy yourself during this choosuk
as much as the hard work you had pushed yourself to do
in the meanwhile I will be working much harder to present
you with good album.

Dana - "I didn't use the back door"

Dana's popularity in China started when she visits China in 2002 along with other fellow SM Town members to perform in the SM Town concert. Because of her popularity, Dana has always been working hard to improve her mandarin. And her popularity in China can be proven by the several awards that receive, include the the years best singer in the 2003 MTV Super Star award, etc.
Recently, she has successfully made into the "University of International Language of Korea" to further her studies on Mandarin in 2005.

I just read in her personal hompy in cyworld yesterday (yes, I did some stalking and found her cyworld hompy, not the fandango one which is probably not active anymore) .. she mentioned about her triumph of passing the exam for "University of International Language of Korea" and she also said that it was gained after hardwork and effort she made .. not because of the back door thing .. and she will keep on the hard work to balance her singing and study ..
.. maybe some refused to believe her .. I don't care because I want to believe .. even if SM did some paying or whatsoever, probably it's without her knowing, or at least, that is what I want to believe :) ..
TVfXQ aka DongBangShinKi - album title 'Midoyo?'
This is NOT a CONCRETE news so don't believe it fully.
I read at somewhere else that their album title is Midoyo (I Believe) and the MV that they shoot back in Pusan was the title song Midoyo, not 'Whatever They Say' like what most of the fans believe.
It is also said that the boys are now resting in Japan and will be back in Korea on October 5 as the album will be released three days later (October 8) and they will be performing in KBS-CCTV Korea- China collaboration concert on the same day (October 8).
Only the news of them performing in the collaboration concert is confirmed, although it is unsure of what song to be performed.

The 6 men group Shinhwa releases the 7th album "Brand New" on 27th August after a year and 8 months without any new album.
On June last year, the group who moved to Good Entertainment, set off with individual activities, along with nationwide tour, Japan's first held concert etc which were only on stage performance now appear with the fresh, brand new 7th album.

My personal opinion: I really really really like this album! Ones of my favorites are 'Brand New', 'Angel', and 'Time Machine'... even though for the first few seconds of Time Machine's intro reminds me of the song 'Where is the Love' by Black Eye Peas (did I spell it correctly?)
And to those who still haven't got the chance to watch Angel's MV, do watch it because I love the complex personality featured in it. Intelligent MV, indeed.
Sunday - Lila no Kataomoi
This is the so-called 'the second BoA' who released her first single in Japan on the past 28 June. Frankly, her voice is good enough and I personally think her Japanese is better than BoA. Some people might banish her just because she is compared to BoA, but I might say... fighting!!!
Her single includes the songs 'Lila no Kataomoi (Lila's One-sided Love)' and 'Koi no step (Step of Love)'

I've told you that YoungWoong looks like a girl (even though I always mention it as ahjumma ^.^;;;). Here is another proof - his profile pic (?) before debuting.
Maybe he already knew about this, that's why he is working hard on his charismatic image and seldom smile in pics.
Another thing about him, in the KMTV I Love Showtank - Mission Impossible on YoungWoong JaeJoong, he revealed another secret >>> he can't wink. Even if he tried, he ended up closing both of his eyes.
By the way, they ended their appearance for the 2nd single to prepare their upcoming 1st album. (And yes, I'm glad that finally my question is answered.)

Pictures regarding the accident // gasoo(s)

So this is how the one where Suh JaeHo was in. Just by looking at it we know that it could be a great miracle if anyone survived in this accident. (One of the members is in coma.)
Collided van <<< click!
And this is the well-known DongBangShinKi's black van. Seems like only the front part was badly crashed. I guess they're lucky that they were riding a van instead of a car.
Injured members <<< click!
As the reporters tried to cover the news, these are the members of DongBangShinKi, moving to Seoul. Poor U-Know, have to wear that thing. I can't see Xiah clearly, but seems like only U-Know and him who didn't wear face mask. I'm guessing that the other members faces are bruised.
Hope those who were involved in this accident will be able to handle things well.
p/s : If any of you are confused while reading the news down there like me, WANTED and DongBangShinKi didn't collided into each other, neither were they got into the accident at the same time. The similarities they shared were that they were on their way returning from Pusan and the accident happened at the same area. (And of course, they're all gasoo-s)

Group WANTED - Soh Jae Ho Passes Away in Fatal Car Accident // gasoo(s)
.. DongBangShinKi was involved too ..
Popular group WANTED and Dong Bang Shin Ki members after finishing their concert at Busan were involved in a car accident on the Jung Ang highway 20 minutes prior to reaching Seoul where WANTED member Soh Jae Ho (23) was killed and 7 members of the two groups recieved major and minor injuries.
On the 11th at 3am, on the Yong Ju Pung Ki Soo Chul Li Jung Ang highway, the [Seoul46Roh 62xx] Carnival collided into a 5 tonne truck, then crashed in to a guard rail.
From this accident popular group WANTED's member Soh Jae Ho who was inside the Carnival car and driver Kim was instantly killed, while same group member Kim Jae Suk and Ha Dong Kyun and coordinator Ku suffered major injuries and were taken to nearby hospital Yong Ju hospital and are currently recieving treatment.
WANTED's management M-Boat stated "It will be decided after we can take hold of the situation with the parents of the passed away Soh Jae Ho but for now as well as none of the members have recovered, the continuation of the group is not definite" and that "for now all plans will be cancelled."
A representative of SM Entertainment revealed that the members of Dong Bang Shin Ki are recieving treatment and the results of their treatment will be revealed during the 11th and a decision of when the members can continue their schedules will be made. However the injuries for the Dong Bang Shin Ki members were only minor so it is believed that there will be no big interference to their activities.
Police investigated the severely damaged Carnival car and found that the driver, group manager Shin was driving in a fatigued state and fell asleep while also speeding. More investigations are currently in process.
WANTED was the focus of many since their debut in May. Each with individual voice colors the three vocalists Kim Jae Suk, Ha Dong Kyun and Soh Jae Ho made the group together with writer and producer Jon Sung Hwan to make a 4 member group. On stage all members excluding Jun Sung Hwan would go up to perform making a truly unique group.
Renowned music company/management 'M-boat's fourth creation, WANTED followed after now famous and successful singers Wheesung, Big Mama and Spider with R&B ballads such as 'Bal Jak', 'Forget Me' and 'Believe' and were already gaining vast popularity through their exceptional vocal talents.

Just have to comment on the MV.
First impression... did SM Entertainment got any alliance with Hotmail.com?
Next... When JaeJoong came out, I was like, who's this girl? Oh, it's JaeJoong... -.-;;; And I actually laughed at the thought on how he really really looked like a girl (or ahjumma, whatsoever). Micky is adorable and hot like always, U-Know seemed less attractive yet he covered it with his snake dance moves (har har har). ChoiKang just overdone his smile - it's too wide. His hair made his look back to I'm-the-oh-so-adorable-good-kid. Xiah... I don't like your hair color.
BoA is sooooooooooo pretty!!! I never thought that there will come a day where I would write a comment mentioning about how pretty she is with exclamation mark. But the day has come. She looked more like a lady and I like it.
KangTa's appearance was so sudden that I jumped a bit on my seat out of shock. DaNa seemed like a kid (again) and of course she didn't forget to do her (cute) skip dance. HeeJun looked just the same.
That's all the people that leave impression on me. Obviously DBSK is showed here and there for their up, up and away popularity.The song is quite catchy and I don't mind to hear it all over again.

... so... when are they going to come out with the REAL album? (not the photo album -_-)
Their real photos 5th series are coming out soon, and they have lots of other goodies but the thing that I really want is their album with lots of songs because that's what I really like about them - their ability to sing beautifully. >_<
An old lady like me doesn't need their goodies. If I bought their goodies and my mom found out, she'd probably shook her head mumbling something about 'can never get married' >.<;;; After all, I'm stingy about my money.
And while we're at it ^.^;;; I'd like to comment on these boys' 'My Little Princess' style:
[ChoiKang] ...stunning! Less oh-I'm-so-young look. I like his hair.
[Micky] ... looks adorable. He sings his part emotionally that I feel like melting whenever I'm watching that part.
[Xiah] ... ever since 'Hug', everytime he sings his parts I feel like patting his head and tell him not to cry. -_-; Yes, I know that he doesn't cry, but his adorable puppy eyes give me that feeling.
[U-Know] ... I still think he looks the best out of those five. Of course, his style looks manly enough. But I don't really like his singing even though his low base voice makes me go oooohhhh~~~
[YoungWoong] ... are you an ahjumma??? -.-;;;

I finally got the chance to watch it, and my first opinion is...... where is the controversional part? where is the sexiness?
I couldn't find anything sexy at all. Her back dancers are much sexier ^.^;;;
The song is not that wow, but after hearing repeatedly it could be addictive. The outfits are almost the same with her previous style; nothing revealed except her abdomen part, which is not a surprise at all. I just don't like her fluffy hair and her crawling part isn't impressive enough because she doesn't show much expression - it only reminds me of Ju-On.. O.O ..
And I always not liking it when she shakes her booty because she doesn't really have booty to shake at the first place. When HyoLee does that - it's a wow (and a bit urgh for slutty impression), but if it's BoA - it's an oh.
And the part of her looking around with the mirror around - although a bit like Britney, that style is almost common I guess, so no surprise again. I think I prefer this to her so-called-rock style. It's only her fluffy hair that scares me >.< ..
I really like it when BoA wearing skirts... so lady like.
Overall... I've told you I can't see BoA as 'sexy'. I can only say that she tried to be a grown up.
Again, I'm not a BoA's BIG fan -.-;;;

Does anyone know when Dana will release her 3rd? Love her voice =P

BoA, My Name, the jacket photos // gasoo(s)...
Let's talk about her 4th album jacket pictures.
Firstly, the one on the cover reminds me of a beautifull doll that was thrown away.
Then, the layout reminds me of ABBA (just don't aske me why -_-)
Now, her new image. Hmmm, when I first look at them I dunno what was I really feeling. I like her outfits, I really think they made her looked good. Like most had been rambling about - it's her hair. But then again, I'm bored of seeing her super straight hair, and the one for 'Shine We Are' didn't help her to look good too.
I think if they made her hair a bit nicer than that, she could come out looking very pretty!!! Still, after a few minutes looking at her pictures, I already getting used to it. On the other side, it seemed like she tried too hard to erase her cute image before (although I don't see her as cute -_-).
I haven't seen her My Name MV yet, so I can't comment on her sexy image. And I still can't imagine BoA being sexy because I can't see the sexiness in her, yet. All that I know is I would rather see her bring a pretty lady image than being sexy, like Dana.
Then again, I'm more to Dana than BoA (not a big fan of BoA). And I can understand if BoA's fan rambling stuff about her new image because I would do the same if it were KangTa ^.^;;; I haven't get to listen to her new album yet, so not commenting on that too.
Overall, I still like her No.1 image the best (I think). Can't wait to listen to this album. I didn't like Atlantis Princess.
Lastly, sorry if I offended anyone. Just stating my honest thought.
